Mrs. Nora Fernandez
Mrs. Nora Chavira Fernandez has been a Catholic school educator for 15 years in Texas, Florida and Virginia. This is her eighth year of teaching with the Diocese of Arlington. Mrs. Fernandez earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Management from Park
University. She holds a Virginia Catholic Education Association Certificate and a Virginia Professional License for Spanish PreK-12.
Mrs. Fernandez is originally from Del Rio Texas, and spent 13 years living in Miami, Florida with her husband, Joe, and their two children, Caitlin and Joseph. Mrs. Fernandez and her family moved to Virginia in 2015. Both of her children are graduates of Paul VI Catholic High School, and both are proud James Madison University Dukes. Caitlin is a graduate of JMU Class 2023, and Joseph is currently a sophomore at JMU. Mrs. Fernandez is quoted as saying that she is very blessed and proud to be a part of the St. Theresa Catholic School community.
