In Virginia, children are eligible to start kindergarten if they are five years old on or before September 30.

Applications for NEW FAMILIES for the 2026-2027 school year will open January 5, 2026.

STEP 1: Pay your non-refundable $200 application fee by clicking the button below.
STEP 2: Complete the online application by clicking the link and upload all documentation (Birth Certificate, Baptism Certificate, and custody agreement if applicable)
STEP 3: Click the button below to download and print the appropriate teacher evaluation and provide to your child's current teacher for completion. Your teacher must return the form directly back to St. Theresa Catholic School at [email protected]
STEP 4: Upload a current report card and standardized test scores, as well as final report cards from the previous two years or a complete transcript. This step does not apply to Kindergarten applicants.
STEP 5: After steps 1-4 are complete, sign up for an assessment date using one of the links below. Please do not sign up for a date until all documentation and payment has been submitted and your application is complete.
Saint Theresa Catholic School follows LCPS for Weather Related Closings. In the event of a school CLOSING, all assessments will be cancelled & rescheduled. If we have a Two-Hour Delay Kindergarten assessments will begin at 10:00 & afternoon session will remain the same.
Grades 1-7 --Any assessments scheduled before 10:00 will need to be rescheduled.
