Mrs. Michelle Choi
Mrs. Choi has been teaching middle school mathematics at St. Theresa since 2020. She has also taught English writing and literature courses at Northern Virginia Community College since 2012, where she was awarded the Mr. Edward Anderson Teaching Excellence Award. She holds a master's degree in English Literature, a Graduate Certificate in Folklore Studies, and a Virginia Postgraduate Professional License in 6-12 English and Middle School Mathematics.
Her passion, however, has always lied with mathematics. In fact, she met her husband in a Calculus III course, while pursuing her degrees at George Mason University. Her love of math and her great faith brought her to STCS during COVID. Outside of school, she has been a religious education teacher at All Saints Catholic Church, where she is a parishioner, for 27 years and an active Girl Scout for nearly 37 years. She loves being outdoors, enjoying God's great creation, and lives with her husband and three children in Nokesville, VA.
