Ms. Brianna Jaeger
Ms. Jaeger holds a Master of Music in Collaborative Piano from Shenandoah Conservatory, where her graduate thesis explored the integration of music with philosophy and literature. She is currently continuing her studies in conducting through Juilliard, with previous academic work at Charleston Southern University, Salem College, and The Royal Conservatory of Music. Originally from Charleston, South Carolina, Ms. Jaeger moved to Northern Virginia in 2019 and is excited to begin her first year teaching in the Arlington Diocese. She has been teaching for over 10 years, including studies in keyboard instruments, advanced theory, vocal studies, strings, Latin, and ancient history. Outside the classroom, Ms. Jaeger owns a private music studio, composes, and works as a Holocaust musicologist. She frequently tours and competes as a pianist, and was one of 20 pianists worldwide invited to the 2025 International Chopin Competition and Festival in Nicosia, Cyprus. She was a Fulbright Semifinalist for studies in Israel, and holds awards from competitions across Northern America and Europe. Performance venues include Carnegie Hall, Schlosskirche Cathedral, Steinway Piano Galleries, Kaufman Music Center, and the Piccolo Spoleto Festival. When not teaching or performing, she enjoys painting, sculpting, hiking, and spending time with her rescue parrots.
