Chorus

The STCS Chorus is open to any student in grades 3-8. Grades 3-5 rehearse once a week during recess, and grades 6-8 do the same on a different day. Chorus performs at all-school Mass, Wolftrap’s annual Winter Concert, and our own Spring and Winter Concerts. Upon occasion, Chorus has performed at public venues as circumstances allow. Students may join for one season or both seasons, and the joining period is in September and January.

Students who join (after a 1-time trial rehearsal to see if they think they would like it) are expected to attend every rehearsal and performance for that semester. Those who miss frequently will be asked to wait for another open period to rejoin chorus.

Chorus is directed by Ms. Quijano, the music teacher at STCS, and is often accompanied by Mrs. Leon or Mr. Ho (STCS parents).
