Chapter 7- The Progressive Era- Working in groups, students will present and teach 1 section of the chapter to their fellow classmates. Through these group presentations, students will learn:
  • how progressives fought corruption in business and government
  • ways in which reforms affected the lives of women and other groups in the late 1800s
  • why Theodore Roosevelt and William Howard Taft were known as progressive presidents
  • how minority groups reacted to discrimination
